New Build House in Chesterfield, Derbyshire
One of my main ambitions in life was to design and build my own house in which we accomplished back in 2010 at the age of 26. I was extremely hungry to strive for my goal I’ve since caught the bug in the new build sector and truly have a passion in providing bespoke developments.
The NHBC was involved in this project early on as both warranty and building control inspectors. Our skills were soon noticed and very shortly we were admitted to the NHBC register of Builders and Developers. Furthermore, we later supplied and built two more developments on the same site.
We were keen to incorporate some traditional features to the property combined with an air source heating system operating underfloor heating. We worked with our suppliers to search for new products available in order to make the house as energy efficient as possible within out budget.
Not only were we the Builders on this project but we were the customers too so we had a first hand exceptional understanding in the requirement needed in order to complete such a project and deal with all the relevant certification such as Architects, Planners, Inspectors, Structural engineers, Air tight testing, E.P.C certifications, SAP calculations, Severn trent waters, Services on site, Piling contractors and many more. We can be as little or largely involved as you so require for your project needs.
