We are a small sized company based in Chesterfield. We have a passion in providing top quality workmanship in the Nottingham and Derbyshire area. We are highly skilled and fully qualified with a vast amount of experience in the building sector.

MB Builders is an Independent Building Company with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail and top service. Martin Biggs now heads up a team of highly qualified builders all of whom are experts in their field.

Martin Biggs
Company Director
Martin is a fully qualified City and Guilds Brick Layer and Joiner. Martin is hands on working closely alongside his team.
Michael Biggs
General Builder
Michael has worked with Martin since leaving school and has learnt how to deliver quality workmanship resulting in a Building Excellence Award 2015 for the ‘Best Extension to an Existing Home’ category.
Robert Barlow
Skilled Ground Worker
Robert has previously been in charge of running several ground working gangs and also has over 30 years experience in the building trade. Robert joined us in 2014 and now makes sure our projects are off to the best possible start.
Gary Wilson
Skilled Labourer
Gary Wilson has over 30 years experience in the building trade. Gary carries out general duties alongside making sure our work area is always kept clean and tidy and materials are to hand.
Julie Staniforth
Company Secretary
Julie joined us when we became limited in 2008 and carries out all necessary office work/accounts and invoices.
Richard Pinnick
Apprentice
Richard is our newest member who has recently just started his apprenticeship with us in trowel occupations through CITB city and guilds. Richard shows great interest towards the job and is very keen to learn.

We are privileged to have a great team of contractors such as electricians, plumbers and plasterers which are fully qualified professionals in their field of work. We have worked very closely with the same contractors now for over 7 years and are equally committed in providing both quality workmanship and good in all our projects. Working closely as a team not only makes our job a lot easier but delivers a faultless end product.
